More than a tweet, less than a blog.

I also tweet every now and then.

Apple has said it secured $60 million in advertising commitments for 2010 — or about half the nascent U.S. mobile display advertising market, according to market research from J.P. Morgan.
According to this article in the LA Times, engagement time for Apple’s iAds was 90s (about 10x of online display ads) and CTRs were about 5x that of display ads. I have to admit that I find those results disappointing if you factor in that iAd is brand new and display ads are invisible 30% of the time and placed outside of the flow on pages with +10 other ads. Back in the days, banner ads used to get a 78% CTR - or about 700x more than you get to day on average.
